Musical Cast Members To Perform Free

Cast members from Fiddler on the Roof will perform and sign CDS at the Barnes & Noble on the Upper East Side (150 East 86th Street) on Friday, March 18th at 4:30 p.m. in celebration of the New 2016 Broadway Cast Album being released worldwide that same day by Broadway Records.  Five-time Tony Award-nominee and Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award-winner Danny Burstein (Cabaret, Golden Boy, Follies, South Pacific) and lyricist Sheldon Harnick will appear along with several other cast members.  The cast performers will be accompanied by Fiddler’s Musical Director, Ted Sperling (The Light in the Piazza, The Full Monty). The original Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof, which opened in 1964, was the first musical in history to surpass 3,000 performances. The show won the 1965 Tony Award for Best Musical in addition to eight other Tony Awards that year. This acclaimed revival proudly introduces a new generation to the iconic musical adored across the globe.

The cast of Fiddler on the Roof features five-time Tony Award-nominee and Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award-winner Danny Burstein (Cabaret, Golden Boy, Follies, South Pacific) as Tevye, Tony-nominee Jessica Hecht (A View From the Bridge, “Breaking Bad,”, The Last Night of Ballyhoo) as Golde as well as Jenny Rose Baker, Michael C. Fiddler on the Roof began previews at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway, at 53rd Street) on November 20, 2015 and officially opened on Sunday, December 20, 2015.  The current regular performance schedule is: Tuesdays at 7 PM, Wednesdays at 2 PM and 8 PM, Thursdays at 7 PM. Fridays at 8 PM, Saturdays at 2 PM and 8 PM, and Sundays at 3 PM.
